Changes to the Club Sailing Program

Please note the following changes that have been made to the Sailing Program
Youth and Novice Sailors Racing Saturday 29th August
On Sat 29 August we have a Youth and Novice Sailors Racing morning with the 1st race starting at 10:00 and everyone off the water by 12:00 allowing the club racing to start at 12:30.
To help us organise the racing, can you please book onto the event via the club website, and if you want to hire a club boat can you please book your required boat in advance to save any problems on the day.
The only restriction is no Flying Fifteens will be allowed.
Laser Sailors - Howie will be running a training session on the effect of the sail controls and when to use them. This will start at 9:00 so you put into practice what you have learnt during the morning races. So you want a Laser to race book it as soon as possible
Regatta Weekend 5th and 6th September
To make it more inclusive we plan to run Junior. Novice and new fleet races on the Saturday morning with the 1st race at 10:30start. This will result in the 1st race of the main event being put back to 1:00pm.
It also proposed to hold the awards ceremony for 2025 after the racing on the Saturday followed by a BBQ.
Please book your BBQ tickets via the Website. To do this go to the Calendar tab, scroll through the Calendar till you reach 5th September and click on Regatta Weekend BBQ, money will be collected on the day
Holford and Ladies Cup
To allow for more entries this event has been split into 2 separate ones.
Ladies Cup
This will now take place on Saturday 26 September with the 1st race at 10:30.
The normal Saturday racing will be put back until 1:00
Holford Cup
This will be held on Sunday 27 September instead of the normal Sunday Program, with the 1st race not before 10:30
