A Warm Welcome to BSC!

Based on a picturesque lake in the Lee valley surrounded by beautiful scenery, Broxbourne Sailing Club was established in 1924, providing a family friendly, fully inclusive club situated at Meadgate Road, Nazeing.

We offer a wide range of water sports including Sailing, Windsurfing and Paddle sports for all ages and abilities. Our fleets include Laser, Vision, Topper, K1, Flying Fifteen and Illusions. Our purpose-built crane makes us especially attractive to keelboat sailors. We offer competitive memberships and our range of 40 single and doubled handed club boats are always available for hire to members! 

We are very proud to be an accredited RYA Training Centre with courses running from April through to October to start young people and adults on their sailing pathway in addition to improving skills in racing, powerboating and yachting.

We run Coaching and Development Sessions on Saturday mornings which are open to all members, but of particular benefit to the Youth Fleet and to those just completing an RYA course to improve their newly acquired skills. These sessions not only help develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to participate in the club racing program but is a great base to meet other members and become fully integrated into the club and get invited to crew on a range of boats.

We host Open Meetings for K1 and Flying Fifteen, an annual 2- day regatta and each week have Club Racing, all supported by an active Social Calendar, of quiz nights and BBQs. Our Annual Fireworks night is a date not to miss!

We are always happy for you to drop in and have a chat with us, Saturday and Sunday tend to be our busiest days with people on site that can show you the club and discuss memberships.
