Welcome to Broxbourne Sailing Club
Broxbourne Sailing Club, based on a picturesque lake surrounded by beautiful scenery, was established in 1924 and provides a range of water activities including Sailing, Windsurfing and Paddle sports. We are an accredited RYA Training Centre with courses run between April and October using our range of 40 single and doubled handed club boats which are also available for hire to members!
Racing takes place on Saturday afternoons, Sunday and Wednesday evenings, which will include our fleets of Flying Fifteens, Lasers, Toppers and Visions. Saturday mornings are reserved for RYA Training and club coaching sessions for our youths and other members to improve and hone their skills prior to the afternoon racing.

RYA 2 Day Intensive Course 12th and 19th September
The second RYA Intensive Course of the season was held on 12 th and 19 th September in blustery conditions that tested the newly learnt skills of Intensive Group and kept the instructors and support crews on their toes with numerous capsizes, but the smiles and laughter showed their newfound joy of sailing. Broxbourne Regatta Weekend 5 & 6 September.2026
After a summer of very light winds, the sailing gods relented and provided 2 days of champagne conditions for the Broxbourne Regatta Weekend. Saturday started with 2 races for the Youth and Novices resulting in some interesting interpretations of the rules and kept the support crews busy with their fair share of capsizes. Regatta Weekend 4th and 5th September 2026
This weekend is the big 2 day sailing event of the year. It will start with a mini-regatta on Saturday morning for Novices and Youths. There will be first 2 races of the Regatta in the afternoon, followed by a BBQ and 2025 Trophy presentations. Practice for the Regatta Weekend
The sun shone and the wind returned for this Saturday's practice session for the Novice and Youth sailors in preparation for the BSC Regatta weekend on 5 and 6 Sept.
