Welcome to Broxbourne Sailing Club
Broxbourne Sailing Club was established in 1924 and provides a range of water activities including Sailing, Windsurfing and SUP. We are an accredited RYA Training Centre with courses run between April and October using our range of 40 single and doubled handed club boats which are also available for hire to members!
Racing takes place on Saturday afternoons, Sunday and Wednesday evenings, which will include our fleets of Flying Fifteens, Lasers, Toppers and Visions. Saturday mornings are reserved for coaching sessions for our youths and other members to improve and hone their skills prior to the afternoon racing.

RYA Tuition available on Saturday 18 July
We have RYA instructor session availability this Saturday from 9am - 12pm. Open to members working towards their adult level 2+ or youths working towards their stage 3+ All RYA sessions are open to all members note: we do work to RYA Instructor pupil ratios and as such have limited availability. Youth Regatta Weekend
The Broxbourne Youth Regetta was held over the weekend of 27/28 June, with some 20 sailors involved in warm and windy conditions. The format was for 3 short races Saturday morning, lunch, followed by joining in the afternoon club race with their own start. Saturday 30 May Training Session
A flat calm at 8:00 am greeted everyone, but by 9:30 it had developed into a fickle breeze, unsure if it was coming or going or even which direction it preferred. Benedict Cup Sunday 17 May
The first Sunday Cup event of the 2026 season, took place in sunshine and a decent breeze. The morning session started at 10:30 with the race officer setting an interesting and challenging course compounded by constant wind shifts. After the opening 2 races the top 2 places were separated by 1 point, but it was now time to retire to the club house for the mouth-watering brunch served up by the dedicated galley team. More »
