We have some great open events throughout the year, both at our club and at partner clubs.
Our Opens
BSC Regatta
September always hosts the Broxbourne Sailing Club annual Regatta. It involves two good days racing on the water and two great nights off. The Saturday night includes a hog roast and live music. This is the biggest event in our calendar, so keep an eye out for tickets. Non members are welcome and encouraged.

Laser and Streaker Open
We combine our Laser and Streaker open into one event making for a fun filled day of sailing. The Lasers and Streakers are such a great boat for all ages, we get a good turn out from everyone. This open usually happend in September.

Topper Open
Broxbourne Sailing Club has been part of the Topper Open Eastern Circuit for years. While the Topper is primarily a youth boat, we have a number of adults go out and show the Juniors a thing or two.

Flying Fifteen and K1 Open
Our large Flying Fifteen fleet take to the water to compete for our prestigious Flying Fifteen Open trophy every year for a weekend in July. Entertainment is provided on the Saturday evening making it a must attend event. This event is also an opportunity for the new and popular K1 to get out on the water and show the bigger keelboats a thing or two.

Lightning Open
For the 1st time in 2012, Broxbourne Sailing Club will be playing host to an open event for the Lightning 368 class. We're hoping that it will be a huge success and the beginning of a strong freindship with the class.

British Moth Open
For those of you who are a certain age, you may remember that Broxbourne Sailing Club was renound for our British Moth sailing. Well we are ever so proud to announce that for the first time in many years, we're holding a British Moth Open event.

Other Opens
- Medway Regatta
Over the last few years we have established a stong relationship with Wilsonian Sailing Club. Each year we go and drink their bar dry and it just so happens that they return the favour at our regatta. We have a throughly enjoyable time when we go down and even end up doing some sailing on tidal waters to boot!
- Essex Dinghy Championships at Stone Sailing Club
The Essex Dinghy Championships are a top class event held at nearby Stone Sailing Club. In typical style, there is good Booze, good entertainment and excellent hospitality from a great club.
